How do you calculate the cost of a truck roll?

Add the technician's loaded hourly cost for the time spent, vehicle cost per mile for the round trip, fuel, and the overhead allocated to that hour — then add the revenue from the job you could have booked in that slot. Direct cost typically lands between $150 and $500; the Technology & Services Industry Association puts fully loaded cost near $1,000.

What callback rate should I enter?

Use your real figure if you track it. If you do not, most contractors underestimate: count every return visit including those logged as new jobs. Healthy is 2–2.5%; many shops discover they are running 10–20%.
